Thank you for choosing Soetlemoen for your self-catering retreat. By using our services, booking accommodations, or visiting our property, you agree to comply with our terms and conditions. These Terms govern your access to our Platforms and Services.

Bookings and Reservations

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
  • Advance payment is required to secure your booking, and reservations will be confirmed once payment is received.
  • Check-in and check-out times will be provided upon booking confirmation. Late check-out may incur additional charges, subject to availability.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations made more than 30 days before the check-in date will receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations made between 15 and 30 days before check-in will incur a 50% charge.
  • Cancellations made within 15 days of check-in are non-refundable.
  • No refunds will be given for early departures.

Pets Policy

  • Pets are welcome by prior arrangement. Please notify us when making your reservation.
  • Pet owners are responsible for their pets’ safety and any damage or mess created by pets.
  • Pets must be supervised at all times, and pet waste must be disposed of appropriately.

Facilities and Services

  • Bicycle Rentals: Available by prior arrangement. Fees apply, and availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Food and Produce: Fresh, locally sourced produce and artisanal goods are available in each unit. These items are for guest use only and should not be taken off the premises.
  • Outdoor Activities: Our property features several ponds, a dam, and gardens for guest enjoyment. Please take safety precautions, especially around water features, as Soetlemoen is not responsible for accidents.

Use of Our Platforms and Content

  • You may access our website and services solely for personal use. Any reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of our content is prohibited without express permission.
  • We reserve the right to modify our Platforms, content, or services at any time without prior notice.

Privacy and Security

  • Soetlemoen values your privacy. We collect only the information needed to complete your booking and enhance your stay. Personal information is kept secure and not shared with third parties except as necessary for booking and service purposes.

Limitation of Liability

  • Soetlemoen is not liable for any injury, damage, or loss incurred during your stay, except where caused by our own negligence.
  • Soetlemoen is a working property with natural hazards. Guests enter and use the premises at their own risk.

Dispute Resolution

  • We prioritize resolving disputes through direct communication. If a resolution cannot be achieved, disputes may be referred to a neutral third party for arbitration.
  • Any legal disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of South Africa, where Soetlemoen is based.
